His tips:
- Participate in every single social network that you can.
- Be very active on other people’s blogs.
- Be active on your blog.
- Keep producing content

One of the things that Ted didn’t mention is tracking the conversation and your own brand online. I think this is one of the most important things that you can do in online marketing. Not only the outreach and relationship building but listening to the results of the outreach for yourself or your clients. My company helps businesses do that and take a very hands on approach to interacting with people online.

You cannot conquer social media without mastering the world of forums and messageboards. Just a friendly reminder from someone who knows ;)

Being active on other's blog is nice, not just because it can help you expose your site but because you can have a huge of knowledge from others.
