Blip.TV Just Deleted Mixergy’s Account Because They Think My Interviews Are Nothing But Ads. Ads For What?!
on May 21, 2009 - 1:57 PM PSTUpdate: I just talked to the co-founder of Blip.TV. His people are getting Mixergy.com back up. And I’m going to invite him to come to Mixergy for an interview. Thank you Adam Ostrow for the advice.
With no warning, Blip.TV cut off my service.
They sent me an email saying that my videos do nothing but sell. Sell what? I don’t make a dime off Mixergy. I spend money to bring you these videos. There isn’t an ad in here for anything.
I even spend money on Blip.TV. I paid for an account with them becuase you asked to see my full interviews. You told me that the audio I used to provide wasn’t enough.
I decided to pay for premium service from Blip.TV instead of using some freebie account because I wanted to be assured that you’d have consistent service.
And now they shut me off?!

They did this w/o talking to you even though you are a paid user? What kind of lame service does that stuff? Don't they know how things spread on the internet?

Eric – I think this deserves a bit more detail.
Was it truly just a computer error, or did someone actually think these videos were ads?
What's to stop this from happening again?
